Haven, Helder, Helm and Hoorn are adjacent oil fields located in Block Q of the Netherlands sector of the North Sea 40 km west of Den Helder and 80 km north west of Amsterdam. Platforms are at the end of their economic life and will be decommissioned.
The Helm facility, designed as an oil producing asset, consists of a production platform and a wellhead platform connected by a link bridge.

The production topside and the wellhead platform are supported by a 4-legged jacket structure.

ARC, has assisted in preparations to decommission the Helm facility.

OI’s scope of work:

The OI Engineers supported the Petrogas Helm decommissioning project, by preparing documentation (procedures & lift plans), reviewing engineering and high level drawings in Solid Works.
