Project description:

The Amrumbank wind farm covers an area of approximately 32 km² and is located around 35 km north of the island of Helgoland and 37 km west of the North Frisian island of Amrum. The offshore wind farm consists of 80 Siemens wind turbines with an installed capacity of 302 MW in total.

The project consists of a cable replacement of a inter array cable.

OI’s scope of work:

Support N-Sea through field/project engineering offshore ensuring that the method statement is followed and providing technical support. Scope includes:

  • Cable recovery
  • Cable Subsea Cut
  • De-burial
  • Cable Installation (1st & 2nd end)
  • Rock Bag Installation
  • Burial
  • Cable Unloading
