Carbon Capture Pipelines Pre-FEED study

Wintershall Dea Carbon Management Solutions B.V. (Company) is investigating options for a connection to the (future) Aramis CO2 trunk pipeline. This connection would involve pipelines from ILT1 of Aramis pipeline to RAT, and from RAT to the Q4-C (existing platform), and to the P6-AB (new platform near P6-A).

OI’s scope of work included:

  • Review and provide recommendations for the survey scope of work.
  • Evaluate intended pipeline routes, considering pipeline laying, efficiency, platform orientations, crossings, obstacles, hazards, and third-party assets.
  • Provide overall field layouts and approach drawings.
  • Prepare a Basis of Design with all input data required for the FEED of pipelines.
  • Propose Nature Inclusive Design (NID) including providing details, reviewing potential measurements, and conducting assessments.
  • Client representative during offshore campaign on board Ocean Reliance
  • Evaluate the on-bottom stability of the RAT structure under in-place conditions across its design life loading scenarios.
