One of the task of the drafting department is to make 3D-models and drawings pipe heads. The main goal of the project was streamlining the drafting process for reoccurring pipe heads design.
OI’s scope of work:
Model geometry
- According to DNV and HMC standard criteria lift point design
- Automated in excel with user inputs
Assembly
- SolidWorks parts and assembly
Automatic update macro
- Program in VBA linked to SolidWorks
