Project description:
It is planned to build a gas production platform within the cluster of possible natural gas fields in the German-Dutch border area, north of the mouth of the Ems. The electricity required to operate the platform will be supplied by the Riffgat offshore wind farm, which is located around 5 km east of the gas platform. ONE-Dyas has awarded N-Sea the contract for the guidance and installation work of an additional cable protection pipe (J-tube) to the Riffgat Windfarm Substation (R0). The scope of N-Sea contract includes procurement and fabrication of the J-Tube and clamps, mobilisation of vessels, diving works, installation of the J-Tube and clamps and topsides modifications.
OI’s scope of work:
Support N-Sea through field/project engineering offshore for the second (and last) trip of the project, ensuring that the method statement is followed and providing technical support.
