Providing OrcaFlex support for cable repair analysis.
OI’s scope of work:
N-Sea requested the following simulations:
- Normal lay statics and dynamics
- Abandonment and recovery statics
- Inline joint overboarding statics
- Omega joint overboarding statics
- With floating barge
- With jack-up barge
Based on the static simulations, recommendations were given about the solutions with best workability and rigging setup to properly handle the cable joint
