VBMS were tendering on a rigid pipeline installation job. They were planning to use a Modular Pipelay Spread (MPS) on one of their existing vessels.
OI’s scope of work:
Offshore Independents was contracted by VBMS to partake in a feasibility study of a proposed Modular Pipelay Spread (MPS). OI’s scope was to perform pipeline installation analysis with Offpipe to:
- Determine if the proposed MPS was suitable and propose modifications to MPOS and stinger.
- Determine the required parameters for the installation of the rigid pipeline
