Project description:
The IJmuiden Ver Alpha cable is an export cable bundle of 4 cables (2 poles, 1 metallic return and a fiber optic cable) that will connect the Borsele ground station with the IJmuiden Ver Alpha offshore sub-station. The project scope consisted of the cable installation and burial of the 126km offshore section of this cable. The cable will be installed using 2 cable lay vessels and a trenching support vessel with a track trencher.
