Joint venture SESA will charter Golar’s Hilli FLNG on a long-term contract. The Hilli FLNG will be moored in the Golfo San Matías using a SSY mooring system. Jumbo Maritime has been awarded the installation of the SSY (Submerged Swivel and Yoke). Even though the details of the yoke are not defined currently, Jumbo Maritime is interested of running a sensitivity study on the lifting analysis.
OI’s scope of work:
Performing a lift sensitivity analysis for lifting of a yoke. Four load cases are considered (two yoke orientations with two yoke ballast conditions). The yoke is to be installed by the DP2 vessel ‘Fairplayer’. The goal is to gain insight in the resulting maximum expected hook loads, rigging
loads and displacements of the yoke Centre of Gravity (CoG) during different loading conditions.
