From 2021 till 2024 N-Sea was contracted to perform several subsea power cable repair projects in the Irish Sea and the North Sea.
OI’s scope of work:
N-Sea has contracted OI to provide Project Engineering support for the Subsea Cable Department. The work involved:
- Preparing Technical proposals for the Tendering Department
- Preparing Execution Documentation for the Cable Repair/Installation projects:
- Cable lay procedures
- Anchor handling operations
- Cable de-burial and recovery operations
- Cable jointing operations
- Define technical requirements for the procurement of cable installation equipment
- On site operational support
