Project description:
Vattenfall is developing two offshore wind farms in the UK, namely Norfolk Vanguard East and West each with a capacity of 1.2 GW. DEME Offshore is the awarded to install the export cables from the Offshore Substation until the Transition Joint Bay located in Happisburgh South, Norfolk.
OI’s scope of work:
Project engineering support for the Export cable scope. The export scope included the following installation operations:
- OSS pull-in
- Shore pull-in
- In-line joint overboarding
- Omega joint overboarding (contingency)
