N-Sea - Greece – Italy cable jointing

Project description:
N-Sea was contracted by Prysmian to execute the following works:

• Transit of CLV Curo to the port of Brindizi, Italy
• Vessel mobilization/deck layout adjustments
• (Spare) cable load-out c/w jointing spares and associated equipment
• Transit to pre-rigged cable end pick-up location, off the coast of Otranto
• Pick-up of cable end
• Cable recovery until cable jointing position is reached
• Handover of cable to Prysmian for jointing
• Cable lay along cable route
• Final landing (use of floaters & support vessels)
• Vessel demobilization

OI’s scope of work:
Offshore Independents supplied a Senior Project Engineer to support the N-Sea project team at the office in Dordrecht with the preparation of the required documentation prior to the start of the project.
