Project description:
HMC will perform a Steel Catenary Riser (SCR) to a Floating Production Storage and Offloading. The goal for HMC was to determine the Maximum stress/strains tensions, Clearances during operation and the sequence of SCR installation.
OI’s scope of work:
For this project Offshore Independents performed a SCR Installation Study.
Offshore Independents analyzed the possibility of using the DCV Balder for the installation using the 3D element analysis program Orcaflex.
