Project description:
Boskalis was awarded the stabilisation of the Cable Protection System (CPS) installed on the infield cables exiting the monopiles of the Sandbank & Hornsrev 3 (HR3) Offshore Wind Farms.
OI’s scope of work:
Boskalis Subsea Cables subcontracted OI for the following tasks:
- Site visit for rock bag mock-up/test lift at rock bag manufacturer premises.
- Office-based engineering support including delivery of rock bags installation procedure / method statement, deck layouts etc. and liaison with the Client (Vattenfall).
- Offshore Field Engineering support on board the Offshore Support Vessel (OSV) North Sea Giant from late February – late April. Concluded by closeout work.
