Foundations of Your Job

As a Senior Project Engineer at Offshore Independents, you will be assigned to one of our clients and be responsible for managing the various aspects during an installation project, from planning, safety, procedures, procurement, permitting and managing subcontractors.

A Glimpse Of Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the project is carried out accordingly to client’s requirements
  • Coordinate with the various departments (tender, operations, procurement, drafting, engineering, etc) to ensure deadlines are met and all documentation and engineering is up to standard
  • Act as interface with clients for engineering related topics
  • Ensure all activities comply with industry QHSE standards and regulations

You are the perfect match for Offshore Independents if you also have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, marine, or similar engineering
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in offshore industry (O&G and/or renewables)
  • Willingness to travel globally for site visits, meetings, etc
  • Willingness to travel and work offshore onboard a vessel during the execution phase – optional
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, client-driven environment
  • Strong reporting skills;
  • Proactive attitude, proactive, confident and flexible;
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written;
  • EU work permit;
  • Residing in Holland or Belgium.

What we offer

  • A salary starting from € 5700-6700 gross per month, depending on your experience;
  • 8% holiday allowance per year;
  • Collective pension contribution;
  • Monthly travel allowance or Public Transport card;
  • 25 holidays per year and compensation of overtime;
  • A year end bonus, depending on the company’s profit;
  • A quarterly bonus, depending on project performance;
  • Remote working policy up to 90 days per year;
