Foundations of Your Job
As a Medior Draftsman at Offshore Independents, you will be assigned to one of our clients and be responsible for managing drafting and 3D modelling for various assignments regarding both operational and manufacturing purposes.
A Glimpse Of Your Responsibilities
• Development structural design: grillages, vessels decks modification, sea fastening, etc.
• Creation of offshore installation storyboards, rigging design, deck layouts, etc.
• Knowledge of cable installation processes and vessel hull design is highly beneficial.

You are the perfect match for Offshore Independents if you also have the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, marine, or similar engineering
- Minimum 4 years experience in offshore industry (O&G and/or renewables)
- Proficiency in Solidworks, Autocad or similar software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to accuracy and a creative, solution-oriented mindset
- A customer-focused approach
- High level of commitment and integrity, with a proactive, flexible attitude
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform in a dynamic, client-driven environment
- Willingness to learn and to travel offshore occasionally
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written
- EU work permit

• A salary between gross € 4.200,- and € 5.200,- (including 8% holiday allowance) per month, depending on your experience;

• A year-end bonus, depending on the company’s profit;
• A quarterly bonus, depending on project performance;
• Stunning historic office, central Rotterdam.
• A flexible hybrid model (min 2–3 days per week in the Rotterdam office) plus up to 90 days per year of location-independent work from abroad or your home country.
