Foundations of Your Job
As a Medior Draftsman at Offshore Independents, you will be assigned to one of our clients and be responsible for managing the various aspects during an installation project, from planning, safety, procedures, procurement, permitting and managing subcontractors.
A Glimpse Of Your Responsibilities
• Development structural design: grillages, vessels decks modification, sea fastening, etc.
• Creation of offshore installation storyboards, rigging design, deck layouts, etc.
• Knowledge of cable installation processes and vessel hull design is highly beneficial.

You are the perfect match for Offshore Independents if you also have the following skills and experience:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, marine, or similar engineering
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in offshore industry (O&G and/or renewables)
• Proficiency in Solid work, Autocad or similar software
• Willingness to learn and travel offshore sometimes
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, client-driven environment
• Strong reporting skills;
• Proactive attitude, proactive, confident and flexible;
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written;
• EU work permit;

• A salary between € 4.200,- and € 5.200,- gross per month, depending on your experience;
• 8% holiday allowance per year;

• A quarterly bonus, depending on project performance;

• A flexible hybrid model (min 2–3 days per week in the Rotterdam office) plus up to 90 days per year of location-independent work from abroad or your home country.
