Project. The scope of the Project is to build a Marine Terminal in El Salvador to store and regasify LNG by a FSRU, a 380 MW combined cycle Power Plant in Acajutla, a 230 KV switchyard and a 44-km double circuit 230 kV transmission line to Ahuachapán to export power to the Central America.

Boskalis’s Scope of Work is to fabricate and install 1.9Km of 24” buried Pipeline and FOC together with a PLET and its Flexible Riser to the FRSU, the crossing of a Cliff 20m high by a trenchless methodology (environmental restrictions) and an onshore section that ends with a PIG-Scraper Trap to the Power Plan

OI Scope:

Project engineering support in preparation of following deliverables:

  • Method statements (pipeline & FOC installation, PLET installation, flexible riser installation, FSRU mooring)
  • Drawings and analysis of anchor patterns for Installation Vessel during pipe installation
